Pumpkin, 'Winter Luxury'

Winter Luxury is gaining popularity among squash aficionados. Beautiful in appearance, with a very unique, subtly netted skin (think cantaloupe), it’s true calling is simply the best flavor and (velvety) texture for pies among pumpkins. We have read about people cutting sugar back in their recipes to account for the rich sweetness of Luxury’s flesh! Vigorous and productive in the field, expect 3-4 medium-sized pumpkins per vine. Originally introduced in 1893 by Johnson and Stokes.
