Zinnia, 'Isabellina'

(Zinnia elegans) In spite of a desire to see more color in floral work, we can appreciate the brilliance of subtlety and grace of form when done to perfection. With the majority of modern zinnia breeding has going towards big fully doubled pompom types, it is a breath of fresh air to see the beautiful grace of a large flowered, singled bloom. Isabellina is a fantastic cut. Big, buttery, pale yellow blossoms with slightly protruded centers on long stems are incredibly versatile in arranging as an architectural accent flower to help bolder colors really pop. Beautiful with shades of greens and black/purples. Majority singles and semi doubles with the very occasional double. Highly recommended.

Zinnias appreciate some cooler time and/or shade.

Continue to cut and deadhead, and the plant will be wildly floriferous!
