Didiscus, 'Blue Lace Flower'
(Trachymene caerulea) A distinctly sweet-scented sky blue umbel showcasing a profusion of delicate, lavender-blue, tiny star-shaped flowers. Graceful 24-36” tall, branching plants are ideal for cutting, lasting at least a week in a vase and blooming June through Sept (October if it has not frosted yet) in the field. Do make sure to cut in the cool part of the day. We grew these for market bouquets years ago, loved them then and are happy to bring them back into the fold and to you.
