Bred by Jim Baggett of OSU for northwest gardens, Cascadia is a tremendous snap pea. The 2.5-3' vines produce an early abundance of sweet plump pods comparable in quality to the venerable Sugar Snap. We found these to be productive, easy to care for and the best tasting of our trials. The vines benefit from some support. They are shorter than many of the vining varieties but mighty! Some resistance to powdery mildew.
