Astro is an arugula selected for less deeply lobed leaf shape (known as "strapleaf" in the trade), and mild flavor.  This variety is exceptionally vigorous, quick to germinate and ready to cut as a baby leaf in just 3 weeks!  We grow a lot of arugula at the home farm and love astro for its lush green color, tender texture and nice mild flavor.  Our Astro puts on significantly more heft at baby leaf stage than other varieties and is an excellent heavily selected strain for both home and commercial baby leaf production.
