Here’s another great variety we are happy to reintroduce to the seed trade. Recommended to us by Scott Chichester out at Nash’s farm in Sequim, we tried it out last year and liked what we saw: a classic nantes type with long roots, blunt tips, and lasting sweet flavor. We see this as potentially an OP replacement for hybrid “Bolero”, perhaps the most popular Fall/storage nantes in the trade. Strong tops and shoulders and great storage qualities make this a great variety for your fall crop. As with many of our “fall varieties” though, this is a great all around carrot for any time in the growing season.
